Katie Hiatt

Since McKnight Place Assisted Living opened in 2002, Katie has brought her enthusiasm, compassion, and expertise to serving residents and their families. A graduate of Rockhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Katie has dedicated more than two decades to helping families navigate the transition to senior living.

In her role as Director of Admissions, Katie is committed to building genuine relationships with residents and families and helping each person feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. As she says, “Our objective is to develop a relationship with our residents so they feel like they are the only person in the world.”
