Chris Leonard has proudly served the Gatesworth Communities since 2016. Chris is responsible for coordinating, planning and implementing all operational activities of the community. By balancing resident and family satisfaction with business demands, Chris ensures that McKnight Place upholds its reputation by providing the highest quality programs, services and healthcare to its residents every day.
Chris first joined the Gatesworth Communities as Vice President of Development and Construction for GateCo Development, where he managed all capital improvements and new developments. He also managed customizations to tailor apartments to the residents’ liking and specific tastes when requested.
Chris earned his Masters of Science from Washington University in St. Louis, Construction Engineering Management and his Bachelors of Science from the University of Missouri–Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology), school of Civil Engineering. In addition, he became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2019. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in charitable causes throughout the St. Louis community.
