McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care (MPALMC) is the featured cover story in the May 22 edition of Town & Style magazine (TSM). MPALMC is known for its high-quality amenities, personalized services and expert care, but its history of making people a priority is what really sets itself apart from other senior communities.

With 30 years of experience in quality senior living, McKnight Place knows how to help its residents live fulfilling lives. One way is through a variety of creative offerings. Hour-long art classes are offered five days per week for Assisted Living and four days per week for Memory Care. The artwork residents create is displayed throughout the community.

“(The art studio) is spacious and includes a beautiful greenhouse with ample natural light for residents to explore the creative process,” art instructor Katherine McAtee recently said. “The focus (during private art sessions) can be on specific needs and interests. All classes serve as an outlet for residents to express themselves nonverbally while developing self-esteem and cognitive functions.”

Established in 2011, Town & Style has become a hometown favorite with readers across St. Louis because it delivers high-level editorial content for its vibrant and intelligent readers.

In addition to extensively covering town news, parties, charitable events and weddings, TSM focuses on movers and shakers, school news and sports and items of interest from the communities it serves all along the central corridor of St. Louis. Lifestyle content is centered on home, fashion, dining, beauty and health.
